Expressnet is pleased to announce the release of more exciting new products.
We have just rolled out a new server group running the very latest operating system from Microsoft, Windows Server 2008. These new servers allow us now to release some very exciting new products to you.
The first of these new products is DotNetPanel Windows 2008/IIS 7.0 shared and reseller web hosting. These new products take over from the current HELM Windows 2003/IIS 6.0 packages.
Expressnet is one of the first Australian web hosts to offer IIS 7.0 which has been benchmarked by Microsoft as being 30% faster than its predecessor. The new DotNetPanel control panel is an industry leader in Windows web hosting, and offers many more features coupled with a friendlier user interface than the previous HELM control panel.
But don’t just take our word for it; try out the demo for yourself – completely free of charge. Simply point your web browser to http://dnp.expressnet.com.au and enter the following details at the prompt:

Upgrading to the new, improved service couldn’t be easier; contact us at support@expressnet.com.au and we will arrange an upgrade for you. The following upgrade fees apply: $30 for a shared hosting account, and $100 for a reseller account.
The second new product is the Virtual Dedicated Server (VDS) range, and, once again Expressnet is amongst the first Australian web hosts to be offering this product range.
These VDS’s are hosted on the latest Microsoft virtualisation technology called “Hyper-V”. This hypervisor-based product provides hardware level virtualisation providing complete control over your virtual server’s resources. Our VDS products come with Windows Server 2008 Standard which includes the new and improved IIS 7.0. Suitable for all types of websites, Hyper-V allows for any operating system to be installed, including Windows and Linux, and benefits from the benchmarked 30% speed increase of IIS7.0 over IIS6.0.
